RAC-DB in c.q. uit archive-log mode halen

Elke keer weer nadenken over hoe de volgorde ook al weer zat met RAC… in archive mode zetten c.q. in no-archive mode zetten. Simpel klusje, mag dus geen tijd kosten. Geheugensteuntje.

Tru64 in archive mode:

alter system set CLUSTER_DATABASE=false scope=spfile;

alter system set log_archive_start=true scope=spfile;

srvctl stop database -d ${SID}

startup mount;

alter database archivelog;

alter database open;

alter system set CLUSTER_DATABASE=true scope=spfile;

shutdown immediate;

Backup

srvctl start database -d ${SID}”

Tru64 uit archive mode:

alter system set CLUSTER_DATABASE=false scope=spfile;

alter system set log_archive_start=false scope=spfile;

srvctl stop database -d ${SID}

startup mount;

alter database noarchivelog;

alter database open;

alter system set CLUSTER_DATABASE=true scope=spfile;

shutdown immediate;

Backup

srvctl start database -d ${SID}

    Het zetten van cluster_database=false hoeft niet meer vanaf Oracle 10.2
